Assignment #6 - Building your Scholarship Resume (Optional)
The purpose of a Scholarship Resume is to have a place to store information about you. It is a "living" document, meaning that it will expand and change over the years as you acquire more education, skills, volunteer experience, etc. Some scholarship and bursary applications may ask you to include a resume; many will not.However, you might want/need one to keep track of your various accomplishments. Its main purpose is to act as an easily accessible reference throughout your post-secondary education. And even though creating a resume can be an onerous activity, once you have a "base model" you can build on it for the rest of your career. (***Use your current work resume as a base.) Instructions: 1. Click on the linkGeneral Overview - Scholarship Resume. Read it thoroughly. Note the various details/information you might wish to include in your resume. 2. Once you have reviewed the content details, click on the link Scholarship Resume Example to view a typical format. 3. Start creating your resume (or add to your current Work Resume). Note:Be aware of keeping your margins aligned and being consistent with your spacing, font size (12 Times New Roman is a conventional font), use of bullets, etc. in order to make your Scholarship Resume pleasing to the eye. 4.
