There are a number of private institutions around the province and the country that offer a quality education. Although their tuition may be more costly, it is because they usually have no "wait list", provide smaller classes, unique course offerings, specialized training, or a condensed school year (i.e.: 40 hours of classes/per week as opposed to 15-20). Whatever the case, these post-secondary schools might offer you something you cannot find at a public institution or you might be able to finish your training in 18 months as opposed to 4 years.
